  11. Hi, C/C++ gurus,

  13. I'm a Fortran programmer and would like to learn C++.  Could any of you give me a hint as which book on C++ is the best for me?  I don't want a pp600 book starts from "what is assignment" or stuff like that, I'd like to go fast.
